The Totem bag is born in La Guajira, Colombia, where the Wayuu textile tradition is passed down from generation to generation. Each piece is hand-woven by an artisan, following a slow rhythm that respects the time and essence of artisanal work.

For over ten years, at La Mansa, we have collaborated closely with this community, jointly developing designs and creating pieces that connect tradition and contemporaneity.

More than an accessory, the Totem bag is a reflection of ancestral know-how and a more conscious way of creating. Each piece bears the unique imprint of the hands that wove it.

The Totem bag is a piece that transcends functionality to become an expression of origin, time, and savoir-faire. Hand-woven in La Guajira, Colombia, by Wayuu artisans, each bag is born from a deliberate process where ancestral techniques and contemporary sensibility meet.

The fabric is made using a double thread half-stitch, a construction that provides a lighter and more flexible drape without sacrificing strength. This balance allows the piece to naturally adapt to daily use, accompanying you from the city to the beach or weekend getaways, with relaxed elegance.
