Composition and materials
The hat is handmade with natural palm fibers by artisans from a small community in the province of Guayas, in Ecuador. The interior has a soft interior band. The ribbon on the outside is chenille handmade in a small town in Italy.

The question of every summer!
Each ribbon is specially sewn with the contour measurement of each hat, since, being a handmade product, each hat can vary by millimeters from the rest. For this reason, we do not sell loose ribbons.

At La Mansa we want you to buy consciously and invest in entirely handcrafted pieces. For this reason, Jalapa hats are made to order . This means that every time you place an order, our artisans get to work preparing your hat (measuring ribbons, adjusting and sewing), so each Jalapa will be delivered within 2-4 business days from the order being placed.
