WAYUU AGUADAS CROSSBODY

The story of our Wayuu bags began over ten years ago, when we started working with a community of artisans in La Guajira, Colombia. Since then, this relationship has been built on trust, respect for their rhythms, and admiration for a technique passed down from generation to generation.

Each bag is slowly crocheted, forming compositions that combine color, geometry, and a very personal understanding of the craft. Aguadas moves away from more intense combinations to explore a range of mineral tones: black, bluish-grey, and off-white appear in a free, almost intuitive pattern.

The result is a Wayuu bag with a more refined and contemporary presence, yet deeply connected to the hands and the place where it was created.

This piece reinterprets the traditional Wayuu bag with a serene and contemporary palette. Its combination of black, bluish-grey, and off-white creates an irregular geometric pattern that is expressive yet easy to wear.

Entirely handmade using the traditional crochet technique, it features a spacious silhouette with a rounded base and an adjustable drawstring closure, finished with large woven pompoms in matching tones. The shoulder strap, also handcrafted, allows for comfortable wear across the body or over the shoulder.

• Can be machine washed in cold water, using a delicate cycle.
