Multicoloured cushion

We launched a new line of products in the HOME section of cushions made of fabric threads made by hand in a small town in Oaxaca, Mexico. The colors of each piece will bring great vitality and color to your home.
Origin
In July 2021, we went to the Oaxaca region and were looking for suppliers. In this small town, we met a family of artisans who have been working in the textile sector for more than three decades. Thanks to a warm conversation, they opened the doors of their home to us and showed us the process of making each cushion. We were amazed by the professionalism and delicacy with which they work each piece on the pedal loom, a pre-Hispanic work tool. It caught our attention because in another state of Mexico, in Chiapas, they use the backstrap loom to make other items such as the Kaloval bag . It is impressive how such an old tool adapts to the needs of the pieces to be created. From that moment on, it was clear to us: a business opportunity for us and a development opportunity for this family. The designs have been created by the La Mansa team following the recommendations of the artisans.
